Annapurna Circuit Trek

Trekking around Annapurna offers the diverse ethno-culture, lifestyles and topography on the shadow of incredible mountain vistas.

Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the world's classic, most diverse and stunning teahouse treks in Nepal. Hiking around Annapurna massif we encounter the fascinating ethnic groups each with their own language, incredible views of some of the most famous high peaks and constantly changing panoramas - from lush, tropical rice paddies and moss-laden rhododendron forests to Tibetan fortresses clinging to rocky cliffs. The superb Himalayas vistas of 7000 and 8000 meter peaks of Lamjung, Himalchuli, Manaslu, Gangapurna, Pisnang, Nilgiri, Tilicho, Tukuche, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges towers spectacularly over the valley. Rich cultural diversity of Hinduism, Tibetan Mahayana, Buddhism and the mysterious Bon-Po religion still co-exist and intermingle with each other in this region.

We have specially redesigned this Annapurna circuit trek making it shorter and avoiding the walk on recently build road. We start the Annapurna Circuit trek from Bulbule after a drive from Kathmandu and finish with Jomsom Pokhara mountain flight keeping the main highlights of classic Annapurna circuit trek intact. Trekking around Annapurna includes the Great Himalayan Trail from Dharapani to Kagbeni thought the Tibetan Buddhist dominated villages. We explore the Braga monastery, the oldest in the region and the shine of Muktinath, a famous pilgrimage site being worshiped by both Hindu and Buddhist devotees together. Hiking over challenging pass of Thorung la at 5416 meter is one of the main highlight of this Annapurna circuit trip. The views from the pass is truly spectacular, spreads from the northwest wind eroded "Once Forbidden Kingdom" of Mustang valley to incredible mountain ranges of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri to the southwest. People of Mustang identify themselves closer with Tibet and the Mustang region has actually been part of Tibet in past. Mustang also is one of the last places in the world to view the ancient Bonpo Religion in action at Thini and Lupra villages.
