The name 'Chitwan" means ' Heart of the Jungle', is a home to the endanger Royal Bengal tiger, Indian one -horn rhino, sloth bear, langur monkeys, wild boar, leopard, jungle cats, various type of deer, over 400 species of colourful birds.
