We
wanted an adventure with isolation
and beautiful scenery, and Mountain
Monarch tailored our trip to provide
more than we expected. The Mountain
Monarch crew added so much to our
trip -- humor, information, and safety.
The anticipation to see what unbelievable
meal would be created for us each
night was sometimes as exciting as
the mountain views. Although Nepal
is amazing by itself, I know that
it was the personal touch of Mountain
Monarch that made our two week camping
trip something that we hope to repeat
again and again.

had a great time on my trek to Everest
Base Camp and Kala Patar. Karma was
an excellent guide. I especially like
the fact that he set a slow pace so
that everyone could keep up and acclimate
easily. His knowledge of the mountains,
Nepal history, and Buddhist culture
really added to the enjoyment of the
trek. Most important was the emphasis
on safety and his knowledge of altitude
sickness and other potential problems,
which made us extremely happy to have
selected such a professional company.
I also appreciate that you were able
to set up the Chitwan adventure for
me. I would certainly highly recommend
Mountain Monarch to anyone considering
a trek or other activities in Nepal.

It
has been a year since we started planning
for our honeymoon trip to Nepal. It
wasn't easy where to start but we
were so lucky to have found Mountain
Monarch Tour Company. They planned
out a fantastic tailor made holiday
that accommodated everything that
we wanted to do and showed great flexibility
to meet our needs during the trek.
They are very efficient and we would
like to say big thank you to the company
especially to our guide Buddha; our
porters: Pemba and Durga. We wouldn't
have enjoyed it as much without your
help.

My
boyfriend and I went on the Annapurna
Poon Hill Trek with MM and enjoyed
every bit of it. From the minute of
our arrival on the airport at Kathmandu
until our departure, MM took great
care of us. All transfers, accommodation,
trekking were organized by them, we
could really enjoy the trek without
hassle. Our guide Sunny was very nice
and gave us detailed explanation of
the mountains and landscapes we saw
and an insight in the Nepalese culture.
We will definitely choose MM for our
next trek in the region.

It
was a wonderful trip-will never forget
it and we are so pleased we went to
base camp. We were really looked after
and cared for and nothing was to much-and
for that we are appreciative, The
Nepalese people are really kind and
caring....The food was always excellent-and
the combination of guide and porter
were exceptionally good-they both
looked after us so well…. So

The food was great, the tents cold
but did the job, and the base camp
crews were so friendly and kind. Mindu
was the perfect Sherpa and kept me/us
in good spirits and safe hands. Phenzo
was professional and friendly and
looked after us well with his good
humor and good will.
The
whole experience has only incited
me to return and climb bigger mountains
as soon as I can. I'll definitely
be recommending Mountain Monarch to
anyone I know coming to the Nepal
Himalayas.

really well.....Karma is an excellent
guide, one of the best I have had
on all of my trekking trips so we

| Although
the four of us had never trekked with
MMA before, (using UK based companies
previously) from our initial and tentative
enquiries Pradip provided all of the
answers and assurances that prompted
us to cost effectively book the Annapurna
Circuit trek in October 2009. From
the time of our arrival in Kathmandu,
all of our transfers, additional flights
and hotel arrangements worked out
very well, right down to our departure
too. It was good to stay at the Shanker
hotel in Kathmandu before and after
the trek.
Yugal the guide and his support team
were very good, helpful, knowledgeable
and supportive. The trek itself was
a fantastic experience, with very
good trekking days and stunning and
varied scenery, which rates alongside
Everest Base Camp trek for us. Despite
wanting to go camping initially, the
tea house experience proved to be
better for us all (despite the difficulty
in securing some accommodation because
of the popularity of the circuit trek),
generally staying at very friendly
and welcoming tea houses. Pradip’s
recommendation for an extra day in
Pokhara was well worth it too.
In summary, we would definitely recommend
MMA and use them again. Our only problem
is finding a trek to rival the Annapurna
Circuit.
