Annapurna Scantuary Trek Client's Feedback

Emma and I had a wonderful time in Nepal trekking The Annapurna Sanctuary trail. We were very impressed with the organisation and the ability to tailor our trip to our only available dates. A nice touch was the down sleeping bags and jackets.

Sunny was our guide and he along with Lanka and the two porters both called Kamal, made our trek so much fun and a wonderful experience. We felt very safe in those amazing mountains and well looked after, but also had the freedom to walk at our own pace!
To go to bed seeing starlit skies and to wake in the morning to snowcapped mountains will never be forgotten, also the tea in bed! Emma celebrated her birthday on the last day and it was made very special along with Birthday cake!

I would love to return to Nepal and would definitely use Mountain Monarch again, also the same guides and porters who felt like friends.

Its one of my most memorable holiday + the toughest too I probably would not have been able to complete the ABC trek without Mountain Monarch sherpa ! I am the slowest in my group and its like being left behind everyday But Ugal was always behind me thus giving me the companionship More important he was like a silent block that "pushes" me that I must reach the Tea House if not I will be letting myself down and him too I have this phobia of slipping especially downhill and it was reassuring that Santos another sherpa was holding the first aid kit and walking next to me too And I really welcome the helping hand when crossing the stream too They made me feel that I am SAFE and in GOOD HANDS and thats how I manage to complete the trek Thanks for making it happen.

Many thanks to Mountain Monarch for a fantastic trip to Nepal. The trekking to the Annapurna Base Camp was stunning. A big thanks to Yugal and Ram for looking after us.

You did a great job! We had an amazing time in Nepal. We definitely have a permanent impression of your wonderful hospitality and gentleness. Sanjay and Lanka were so nice and a great companionship. They were amazing. From the very beginning of our trip I had good feeling that we chose the right agency. The first day sightseeing in Kathmandu was very interesting. And I am definitely interested in coming back to Nepal especially doing the Mount Everest Base Camp Trek

Just want to thank you one more time for all arrangements that you have made. Without you, Sanjay and the guys we would not have been able to enrich our lives with the Himalayan experience. Both Darko and I would like to do the trekking again. Will let you know when we arrange for the time.

Pradip, I must thank you and the team, namely Subash and Yugal as well as the other guides and porters, for all the excellent arrangements and experiences I had on the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek.

This is one of the most professionally organised treks I have undertaken, almost a luxury, given the way your team treated the group. We were fortunate to have a guide run ahead and arrange the accommodations for us during this peak period, and I had any sympathies for the groups and individuals who did not manage so well as we did.

But mostly, I would like to thank your team for the excellent support they gave me during the trek, given my phobia for heights. I do not think I could have managed that one tricky bridge, as well as the steeper climbs without their watchfulness and guidance. I am almost tempted to repeat the experience next year with the Everest Base Camp trek.

And I do know I will return to Mountain Monarch when i make my way there again. Although there are many companies out there, I am most comfortable with MM, especially in the design of the agenda and the many arrangements, the wise group selection (I really enjoyed being with the group I was with!), and all the attention your team gave to every member of the trekking group! I was also extremely impressed with the care given to the porters and the other guides throughout the trek, and Subash's constant medical assistance to the villages en-route was a humane gesture that makes me admire MM all the more. Well done, and many thanks once again for a most awesome and exhilarating experience!

I really have to thank you, Wengda, Akur and the two boys for making it such a memorable trip for us. The equipment provided was very good, the routes planned out just right to suit our capability, and the guides were extremely knowledgeable and informative. Mountain Monarch are very well organised, but more than that your guides took a personal interest in us, ensuring that we made the very most out of our whole trip.

We highly recommend Mountain Monarch for a trek in the Himalayas. They were very flexible and made decisions as circumstances changed to suit our needs. We brought our parents and were a bit worried about how they would manage the trek considering they had never done it before, but the guide was very encouraging and ensured the trek was as comfortable as possible for them. The guides and porters were very friendly and hospitable. They ensured our food was prepared well and to our liking. Overall, it was an amazing trip - we loved every bit of it! We will be back for more!

The professionalism of yourself and your team at Mountain Monarch went above and beyond any service expectations we had.
It was great that you (Pradip) were able to meet and brief us on everything when
we arrived at the hotel. We found that not only very professional, but also extremely reassuring that our trip was well organised and there was nothing left for us to do but to relax and enjoy it.
Having Subash as such an experienced, knowledgeable and friendly guide was brilliant. He made nothing seem like too much effort and he was so patient with us no matter how much we struggled with the climbing on some days. Sube and Saila were the most wonderful porters. Even though we had the language barrier, we were still able to joke and communicate with them. They always had a smile for us even after carrying our heavy bags for 6 hours at a time. Once again, as with Subush and Gyanendra, they are such a credit to your company.
A big thanks you to all at Mountain Monarch for making this a trip of a lifetime for us.

Annapurna Sanctuary Trek Dec Trip 2007

Thank you for making our trip to Nepal so memorable. The organization of the trek was superb especially Pradip's patience with our endless questions before we arrived in Nepal! The trek itself was amazing and took us through different landscapes culminating in ABC at 4100m. We sometimes didn't think we would make it but we did and both of us had a great sense of achievement. Our guides and porter were wonderful and took great care of us - we will always remember our card games and cups of tea at 6 am! We would have no difficulty in recommending Mountain Monarch as a company to organise any trip in Nepal and would definitely use them again.

Our experience with Mountain Monarchs exceeded our expectations on all dimensions. Of course the adventure was visually stunning, trekking through the rhododendron rich forests with 8000-meter peaks filling the blue sky. But our experience with Mountain Monarchs was so much more. Mountain Monarchs, a relatively small operation, provides the personal attention that creates a relationship with the guides and opportunity to become intimately acquainted with the culture and people of Nepal. It was a fascinating process that started with a few emails exchanging questions about the trek that evolved into a friendship with the staff and a deep commitment to the Nepalese people. For those individuals that are in the process of determining which trekking company to select, let me make it easy for you...Mountain Monarchs will take the best care of you, make you laugh and personally attend to all of your needs. They are awesome!

"Not one specific thing, lots of things, the cultural elements, the scenery, the companionship of staff who looked after me perfectly and pointed out things of interest to me. You are doing a wonderful Job; I wish your company all the best for the future."
