Meals and Accommodation
Mountain Monarch does book the hotel accommodation for you in Kathmandu and Pokhara on Bed & Breakfast plan as per the plan. Depending on the mode of trekking we stay on local teahouse or tented camp.
We offer the OPEN AND CHOICE MENU in our teahouse trekking where you can select the food you like on your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Your guide will help with menu selection and ensure that you get the hygienic, plentiful and nutritious food. Most teahouses offer a variety of rice and noodle dishes, as well as seasonal vegetables. A variety of cereals, bread and egg dishes are generally available for breakfast. Properly boiled water is served for drinking on breakfast and dinner time. We provide properly boiled drinking water on all Everest region trips where our staff properly boiled drinking water on Kerosene for you. We recommend you to support the locally by collect the safe drinking water from local station on teahouse trek in Annapurna region.
On camping expedition trip our trained and experienced cook caters hygienic varieties of meals to enthrall you even on the top of the mountain under less than ideal conditions. To start the day, breakfast consists of a choice of porridge, muesli and cereal followed by omelet, fried or scrambled eggs with chapattis or bread. Lunch is generally a selection of salad, cooked vegetable dishes, pasta and traditional breads. Dinner is a hearty 3 course meal - soup, followed by a variety of vegetable, meat, rice and pasta dishes and completed with a simple dessert. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also provided at all meals. Properly boiled water is served for drinking.
