Besides the trekking gears we do provide all the personal and group climbing gears including the branded LESPOTIVA climbing boot, EXPERT down filled mattress for comfort and warmth, Black diamond’s crampon, Ice axe, harness, ascender, figure of eight, carabineer etc along with fixed and dynamic rope required to climb the peak.

Hassle Free Travel :     We take care of your holiday from the airport to airport (arrival to departure). All your accommodation and transportation is taken care of. Private transportations are used on all longer road journeys to guarantee the freedom of exploration and to increase your comfort. Entrance fees are included for all the cultural heritage sites, National and conservation parks. We make sure to have trekking &peak climbing permit and domestic flight ticket ready on time. While on trip we offer you the free use of quality trekking and all climbing gears.

Staff Welfare:     We are committed on the welfare of our staff from Trek Leaders / Guides to Sherpa, Cooks and Porters. We ensure good wages, salary, Provident fund, proper insurance to the equipment and warm clothing needed for porters. They are our kith and kin as well as the backbone of adventure industry in Nepal.  

Mountain Monarch has fulfilled all the standard set by IPPG (International Porter Protection Group) for the welfare and safety of all porters and is committed to improving their livelihoods. No wonder all of the staff including porters want to work for us over and over again. We have set some noticeable guidelines, which we are applying in our trips as a Porter Protection Policy.

•  In no circumstances a sick porter can be sent back alone but with someone who speaks same language and understands the problem. Sufficient financial support will be provided to sick porter and helper to cover the cost of their return and treatment.

Social Responsibility & Porter Children Education:       Leading trekkers and climbers on the mountains is not the only things we do but also aware of the social responsible. It is indeed an honor and privilege to have you on our trip. Your choice has enabled us to contribute in our mission to provide better education to the many more deprived porters’ children through “Porter Children Education Fund” promoted by Mountain Monarch.  We are also assisting in building up the schools and drinking water supply system on remote areas.

Environmental Aspects:     We are aware on the protection of fragile environments while organizing trekking and climbing trips. We motivate all of our guests to 'take only photos leave only footprints'. We cook meals using kerosene or gas in camping trip and stay at teahouse where alternative energy like Gas is being use for cooking. We do proper dispose of all the biodegradable rubbish and bring all non-biodegradable things like tin; batteries, plastic etc. back to Kathmandu for proper disposal. We set up the Island peak camp with solar energy for the lights and provide the properly boiled drinking water to discourage the use of plastic mineral water.

Small groups:    We belive in organising small group to deliver the best quality services so when you join Mountain Monarch trekking or climbing trip, you travel with a maximum 10 fellow travellers. This is small enough to avoid making a negative impact on the places we explore but large enough to have a good time with other travellers from around the world.
