Everest Base Camp Trek

Hiking trip to the Mount Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar - a great challenge and achievement - thrill of being so close to the highest peak on earth.

Mount Everest Base Camp trek conjures up images of a great challenge and achievement, thrill of being so close to the Mount Everest; is truly an unforgetable adventure trekking experience in Himalaya. No doubt Everest base camp Kalapathar trekking is once in a lifetime adventure hiking holiday destination to see some of the most awe-inspiring and breathtaking Himalayan scenery imaginable. Professionally designed Everest Kalapathar trek itinerary ensures to have adequate time for proper acclimatization, thereby enjoying the adventure walking holiday at its best. This could be your perfect choice for your first hiking trip in Nepal Himalaya and it is well within the reach of any fit average hiker.

We follow the footsteps of legendary mountaineers: Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in our adventure trek to Everest base camp and Kalapathar. To start the teahouse Everest base camp kalapathar trekking we take an exciting flight to the Lukla airstrip - the gateway of Everest region walking holiday trips. Hiking along the Dudh Khosi valley leads us to Namche Bazzar, the Sherpa heartland, nestling in a horseshoe-shaped bowl surrounded by forested ridges and snow-capped peaks. We witness and explore into the lives and culture of the Sherpa people and Buddhist monasteries with the views of Everest getting closer every day. Unlike other adventure companies, we hike up less trodden, different and longer route to Dingboche, a village set next to the incredibly beautiful peak of Amadablam via Khumjung, Monla and Phortse villages for proper acclimatisation and no doubt bonus exploration on our way up to Mt. Everest base camp. The alpine sceneries become more rugged as we trek above the tree line on the Khumbu glacier moraines to Lobuche and then Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. We climb up the Kalapathar peak at the height of 5545 meters, an experience never to be forgotten. If you have ever longed to set eyes on the highest mountains and rugged pristine glaciers around you, then the view from Kalapathar will stay with you forever

Trekking to the landmark destination of the Mt. Everest Base Camp over the boulder strewn moraines can be challenging but very rewarding for the sense of achievement. It brings together with the honor and privilege of standing where so many brave climbers have begun their bid to climb the Mount Everest - the beginning of their challenge but the culmination of your adventure trip to the Everest Base Camp and Kalapathar hiking.
