Outline Itinerary of Langtang Trek

Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel / welcome Nepali style dinner with ethnic cultural program.
Day 02 : Visit to Buddhist shrine and Hindu Pashupatinath temple: witness the sacred Hindu Cremation done in public way. PM is free.
Day 03 : Drive to Syabru Besi, commence Langtang trekking.
Day 04-06 : Trek to Kangen Gompa via the Himalayan settlement of Lama and Langtang.
Day 07 : An exploration day to the surrounding hills for Himalayan vistas.
Day 08-09 : Trekking down hill to Syabru.
Day 10 : Drive back to Kathmandu.
Day 11 : Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 12 : Trip end / Airport departure.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mountain Monarch for the great trek we have just had in Langtang. Your staff (porters, sherpas and guide) were fantastic, a real credit to the company and a joy to spend time with. Our whole group really enjoyed the experience and found it very rewarding on all sorts of levels. The way the clouds lifted when we got up to Kyangin Gompa was just breathtaking!
