CLIMBING : Yala Peak |
| |
|
Two
weeks less trodden trail onto the Yala summit
beyond hiking in Langtang. |
Standing
on a Himalayan summit with the less time
consumption, Yala peak climbing trip is
the best alternate for those climbers who
have been seeking the thrill of adventure
beyond hiking. Walking through the dense
forest and traditional ethnic settlements
you reach the wonderful base camp of Yala
peak. You will have stunning views of Lantang
Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje
Lakpa (6990m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m)
in Tibetan side. The climb to Yala Peak
is non-technical. Prior climbing experience
is not required however outdoor experience
and average level of fitness is the most. |

Mountain
Monarch are every bit as good as
their excellent web site. I chose
them for a spring Island Peak trip
because of their professionalism,
value for money and not least because
they were a local Kathmandu based
company. I have been particularly
impressed by the friendliness, knowledgeableness
and attention to detail that characterizes
this company from the Managing Director
down to the porters. This all contributed
to a trip of a lifetime. Anyone
thinking of visiting the wonderful
Himalayas should look no further!
