Rafting is one of the best ways to explore the
typical cross section of natural as well as
ethno-cultural heritage of the country. It is
one of the most enjoyable and effective ways
to experience the rural areas, observing different
ways of life, cultures and natural environments,
and coming into contact with village people
the conventional traveler rarely gets to meet.
There are plenty of dramatic mountain rivers
in Nepal, which offer excellent rafting, or
canoeing experience. These pleasures are complemented
by an even greater thrill: running through powerful,
fast-flowing rapids. The skills of our professional
guides and the stability, sturdiness and buoyancy
of modern self-bailing rafts, enables us to
safely challenge these exciting rivers. Our
trips mainly take place on rivers Seti, Trisuli,
Sun Koshi. Kali Gandaki etc. All these rivers
provide a wide range of possibilities to suit
most rafters. Nowhere are these voyages of exploration
and adventure better experienced than in Nepal
with these finest white-water rivers surge through
a spectacular land of dramatic contrasts supporting
an amazing variety of flora and fauna, interlaced
with a myriad of centuries-old cultures.
Seti (Grade 3) : This River
offers the best two-day rafting trip in Nepal
and is the perfect link between an Annapurna
trek and a safari in Chitwan National Park jungle
safari. It starts on the south east slopes of
Machapuchare and then flows south as a unique
river passes through two beautiful and contrasting
scenic areas.
Trisuli
(Grade 3) : This is Nepal's most popular
rafting and is easily accessible from Kathmandu.
It menders close to the highway and is perfect
as an alternate means of transport to Royal
Chitwan National Park or even to Pokhara. Despite
its proximity to the road, it offers great scenery,
exciting rapids and impressive gorges.
Sun
Koshi (Grade 4+) : This River provides
one of the best rafting trips in the world.
It has fairly warm water, is a remote and pristine
river with no roads nearby. A few friendly villagers
and passed on the way and the banks of the lower
section reveal a wide various species of wildlife
at the same time. It is also counted for the
excellent camping site along the river bank.
Bhote Koshi (grade 4 – 5+):
No doubt, Bhote Koshi offers the best two days
challenging whitewater rafting in Nepal if not
in the world. This is the wildest and Nepal
steepest action packed rafting trip. Participants
end their Bhote Koshi rafting with comment “
What a heart –vibrating trip we had!”
