Trekking in Nepal is possible and can be pleasant at any time, with each season offering a specific attraction.

It's true; sometime the mountains of Nepal can be crowded with trekkers and climbers. But there are still many ways to avoid the crowds. The best way to ovoid the crowd is to go on trekking in December when you well often have lodges to yourself. Though it gets cold in night in winder, often it offer the clear day / blue sky and relatively few trekkers on the trail However, we need to be selective in organizing the winter trekking in Nepal. Climbing and crossing high passes trip won’t be an ideal to do in late December. Trek like Everest base camp (no need to cross any high pass) and low altitude trek like Annapurna Panorama / Annapurna Dhaulagiri/ Annapurna base camp / Instant Everest treks can be organize even in winter
