Passes and peaks adventure in Everest region
We check the gear before we take an exciting flight to Lukla to begin our adventure journey to the Everest high passes and peaks. We explore and ascend a number of remote high passes and peaks to view some of the most incredible, awesome mountain vistas beyond imagination in the Everest region. We trek the less trodden Thame and Gokyo valley trails to the popular Khumbu valley and then Island Peak valley. You will witness truly unforgettable Himalayan vistas from each of these vantage points like Rinjo La, Gokyo Ri, Cho La, Kalapathar and Island Peak.
We also explore the trails up to Everest Base Camp the ultimate goal of so many trekkers. Not only does this give you a chance to experience the magic of Everest Base Camp, it provides necessary and vital acclimatization before we head for Island Peak Base Camp. Here we organize the climbing training course – a comprehensive series of instructions and exercises on various aspects of climbing techniques – carried out by our expert climbing Sherpa to ensure that you are completely knowledgeable and therefore safe. Your historical climb to the Island peak will be rewarded with one of the best panoramic summit views in the Himalayas. You feel so close to Lhotse, Nuptse, Baruntse, Ama Dablam and Makalu, that you could almost touch them – a truly magical experience!

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu / Nepali dinner with ethnic cultural program

Day 02: Cultural tour to Boudhnath and Pashupatinath / Trip preparation.
After breakfast half day guided city tour to the two World Heritage sites Bhaudanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Hindu temple.
Late Afternoon your trek briefing and trip gear distribution.
Sorting out all the permit and gear for the climbing.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla and start trekking trip.
Morning transfer to domestic Airport for 35 minutes exciting mountain flight to Lukla and meet the crew.
Our trek crew arrange the load to porters.
Responsible trek with one porter to each trekker
Easy 3 hours trek to Phakding for first night in mountain.
Day 04-05: Trek to Namche / Acclimatization rest day.
We enter into the Sagarmatha National Park World Heritage site with spectacular high mountain views including the majestic Mt. Everest. Following morning after breakfast will take you acclimatization hike to Everest view Hotel and afternoon is your own explore more around or take leisure time hang out in Market as you wish.
Approx 6 hrs trek to Namche
Day 06: Trek to Thame, less trodden route in Everest region.
We trek opposite direction of Everest Base Camp following West Bhotekoshi river valley towards Nyangpala Pass a gateway of Tibet-Nepal trading route. This valley has high profile of mountaineers and has set records on climbing sector since first ascent to Mt. Everest by Late Tenzing Norgay to Appa Sherpa who climbed Everest 22 times.
Approx 4 – 5 hrs trek
Day 07-08: Trek to Lungden, Acclimatization rest day.
It is half day trek from Thame to Lungden takes about 4 hours on the direction of Nangpa-La glaciated pass on Nepal Tibet border.
Approx 4 hrs trek.

We will take a rest for acclimatization hike above the camp as far to climb 600 meters higher than camp make sure to proper adjustment in Altitude
Day 09: Trek to Gokyo via Rinjo pass
Approx 08 hrs trekking to Gokyo crossing teh Rinjo pass.
We start walking before the light comes in the valley to reach Rinjo Pass on time. Initial walk and last part of the pass has steep climbing. The views from the pass is incredible Majestic Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Makalu many more gigantic Himalayan peaks and Cho- Oyu above the lakes in very closed view. We will descend 600meters down to Gokyo lake at 4700m.
Day 10: Exploration hike to 5th Gokyo Lake
We start steady ascent of Gokyo 5th lake late morning average 5 hours walk to and from.
Day 11: Trekking on the moraines of the Ngozumpa Glacier to ThangnaK
Around 4 hrs trek to Thangnak.
We start ascent of Gokyo Ri early in the morning average 4 hours walk to the top one of the best panoramic view point. Today we cross the glacier sections on the way to Thangnak however distance of camp is not very long so we can make it lunch camp.
Day 12-13: Cross the challenging Chola pass: enjoy the superb beauty of Nature.
We start hiking premature morning to avoid unforeseen situations occurs during the mid day walk. Frozen condition has more advantages of stability so there are fewer chances of fallen loose rocks before pass. After the Pass there are no hazardous sections to come across.
After a cozy breakfast with exposes a dramatic panorama of the spectacular snow capped peaks we traverse high pastureland before we reach Labuche, Lunch and camp at same place.
Day 14: Trekking to Gorak Shep (5288 m) and trek to Everest base camp Kala Pathar: the best vantage point to see the Everest on earth.
Approx walking of 7 – 8 hrs.
We walk West side of Khumbu Glacier and pass the moraine on the way to Gorak Shep. After the light lunch we continue for Legendary Everest Base Exploration. Today’s walk would be strenuous due to EBC excursion and high altitude.
Day 15: Morning hike to Kalapathar ( 5545m) and trek down to Dingbuche
Hiking around 8 – 9 hrs
Kala Pathar: the best vantage point to see the Everest on earth.
Morning excursion to Kalapathar (5545m) walk approx 5 hrs and trek back to Dingbuche walk approx 4 hrs. Early morning we Ascent Kalapathar with help of flashlight. The trail is difficult to follow in dark although catches rewarding views from the summit of Kalapathar. After sufficient shots of dramatic mountains we decent down to lodge and take breakfast before continuing to Dingbuche.
Day 16-17: Trek to Island peak base camp/ Rest and climbing clinic course.
From Dingbuche we follow the glacial river and open arid valley to the Island peak Base camp and pass on the way the last settlement Chhukung village. We continue towards base camp with slow and steady pace alongside of glacier and finally reach Base camp near south slopes of the Island Peak. Tent would be fixed by the time you reach there and guide escort you to the tent. Our company chef prepares food for staff and members as long you stay at base camp.
CLIMBING CLINIC @ base camp of ISLAND PEAK
Today we take breakfast leisurely and prepare for climbing clinic. Climbing guide displays all the required climbing equipment and brief you about technical aspects and demonstrate it properly. All the climbing members should obtain basic knowledge of climbing gears to cope with difficult situation on submit day. Climbing guide always eager to assist you unless and until you are confident on uses of climbing gears.
Day 18-19: Island peak climbing period / Sensational Himalayan vistas from top
Early morning start walking with the help of flashlight; the track leads rugged flat path few hundred meters northeast beyond the base camp before steep climb of hillside. As we climb up hill through rocky slopes entering steep narrow gully with difficult rock steps until emerge on the right side of ridge. We follow the ridgeline and come into the exposed area next to the summit glacier. We rope up all members to traverse icy glacier and cross several crevasse. Ultimately we reach bottom of south summit ridge and use fixed rope and Jummer (ascender) onwards climbing 45degree ice slope and sharp submit ridge to the top. Without delaying on summit we descend down to base camp for night stay.
CLIMBING SPARE DAY – It is important to keep spare day in case of bad weather or any problem occurred before the summit day there would be at least an option to the top. This is an optional day in case of not used as appropriate manner can use exploration the area or simply relaxed on the way down.
Day 20-23: Trekking down to Lukla via Thyanboche and flight to Kathmandu.
Trek to Pangbuche we retrace down the Imja Valley and pass the first teahouses at Chukhung. We stop at Dingboche for lunch, a charming Sherpa village close to where the Imja Valley joins the main Everest trail, before continuing to Pangbuche.
Trek to Namche Bazar descend down to the bottom of river valley with relaxed walk exploring the famous Tyangbuche Monastery. We cross the long suspension bridge over Dudhkoshi river again and stop for refreshment drinks before hit the uphill of Kyenjuma village afterwards trail becomes level almost to Namche.
Namche to Lukla walk would be challenging due to long way downhill and distance coverage. Nonetheless beautiful mountain views and fresh greeneries adds energies to continue as far to reach the campsite. Lukla is our last night camp up in the mountain and celebration night with crew to keep all memories more alive.
We fly back to Kathmandu spare time can explore city heritage sites you can consult with leader or office representatives.
Day 24: Free day in Kathmandu.
Leisure day in Kathmandu/ Last minute shopping.
Day 25: Trip ends / Airport transfer.
