This was my second time with Mountain Monarch and like the last time I am very satisfied with my trek and with the team. Buddha and the other guides made my Mera Peak climb to something I always will remember.

The whole team were fantastic, so helpful and service minded. The food was just great, delicious! Kalandra and his kitchen boys know how to cook. All of us managed to summit, and I am really happy about that. So thanks to you Pradip who organized this trek for me and thanks to the whole team.

During my Mera Peak expedition in spring 2007 Mountain Monarch trip arrangements were extremely good. In my Mera Peak expedition the guide and the team were very professional. The food was very tasty. A hungry is unknown matter if you use Mountain Monarch service.

Also I have to say that I had not any stomach problems during expedition.Mountain Monarch services in Katmandu were according to itinerary and timetables without any delays etc. It was quite miracle in Katmandu traffic. When I next time go to Nepal, I will surely ask first if the Mountain Monarch has the service what I am looking for.

A fantastic trip well thought out and led by a very competent team of employees. I can’t recommend Mountain Monarch enough and I hope to use them again in the future. Thanks to Nima and the rest of the team for getting us on the Mera Peak summit! A great company for the peak climbing in Himalayas.

This was my first trip with Mountain Monarch and my first trip with a trekking company before this all of my mountaineering arrangements have been done by myself and my climbing partner.
So into the unknown. Well i need not to  have worried. From the first contact with Pradip to the end of the trip at the airport i was looked after. If i go to Nepal again and i hope to, i will definitely use Mountain Monarch. The team going to Mera and onwards to Island Peak where very well organised, good tents and good equipment and lots of tea to drink. The food was good but after a while i got a little tired of the same,so next time i will take along lots of energy drinks and energy bars. Its what im used to.
The trip to Mera was wonderful and as we took an out of the way route we had plenty of time to acclimatise. When i got to the top Of Mera after an early morning call i was speechless.
What a stunning view.I went to take some photos only to find that my camera had stopped working.Blast. So if the other team members read this, if you have some photos you would like to send me please get in touch with Pradip im sure he will pass on my e-mail address.

So if you want to go to Nepal and visit the stunning Himalayas.
Give Mountain Monarch a call.
Have a Happy Christmas

Trek to Mera peak with 100% summit rate for our team.
From the the first email to the final goodbye at the airport, I have nothing but good things to say about Mountain Monarch.
They answered all my email queries fast and professionally. Giving me great piece of mind before even meeting with them.
The guides, cook, and porters were first class. Super friendly, never stopped smiling and were always helpful. They pushed the team just enough to help us achieve our summit goal. They even went to the trouble of making me a birthday cake at 5300 meters!!
The equipment provided by MMA, down jackets, tents, sleeping bags, liners, etc, were tip top.
If you our looking for a great company to travel with, stop looking and start booking with MMA.

We did a trip to Mera Peak with Mountain Monarch in November 2013. The trip was well organised and we really enjoyed our time. The trip allowed plenty of time for acclimatisation, which for sure helped to succeed in climbing the summit. The leading guide Prakash spoke really good English and did an excellent job. Equipment was fully sufficient and often brand new. Food was great, especially considering the remote locations. Pradip, the manager, was always available in Kathmandu and took great care of everyone. One recommendation for anyone climbing Mera Peak: take some proper mittens. In strong wind even the best gloves could fail and leave you with frostbite. A pair of Nepali-brand down mittens is around $10 in Thamel and worth every penny 😉

I chose Mountain Monarch for a trekking trip to Mera Peak in Nov 2013, due in part to their well planned itinerary which allowed for sound acclimatisation and their experience at higher altitudes. In remote conditions their team did not let us down. Experienced guides, with very good english, who communicated well and were attuned to our well being and safety. All bases were covered including an additional oxygen tank and PAC bag.

Pradip the MD of MM was always available to assist in Kathmandu and the guides on the trek, lead by Prakash, were friendly and always their to make sure we were looked after. All camping, trekking and climbing equipment provided was good quality. The kitchen team provided ample food and varied it as best they could. A few surprises (cakes, hamburgers, chips) along the way brightened the toughest day.

All in all I was very pleased with Mountain Monarch. They provided everything they said they would, but most of all got us to the top and back safely. I highly recommend them.

What a great journey, brilliant experience and very grateful to meet all the people which made the mentioned possible. Super professional and quick e-mail contact by Pradip who answered all questions before the trip to prepare me mentally. The received trekking equipment was at the highest standard and all “extra” requests were fulfilled. The MM staff was exceptional with the guides, chefs and porters.

Massive thanks to Dawa Finjo Sherpa and assistant guides Mingma Chiri Sherpa as well Lakpa Nuru Sherpa. Dhana Rai and team cooked diverse and super tasty food. I am coming back again for sure.
All in all Mountain Monarch is highly recommendable to get a “never forget” experience and I would suggest them to all my friends to join a trip.
