Rafting in Seti
Seti river rafting in Nepal – grade 3
River rafting in Seti is the best two-day rafting trip in Nepal. It is the perfect link between an Annapurna trek and a Chitwan jungle safari. The rafting starts on the south-east slopes of Mt. Machhapuchare and flows south – a fantastic unique river which passes through two beautiful and contrasting scenic areas.
The first day of your rafting in Seti River starts off with relatively mild paddling on the Modi River. You will experience the beauty and wonder of this amazing mountain river valley on smaller Class II rapids. This section of the river provides the perfect opportunity to hone your skills of whitewater paddling in an inflatable self bailing raft. As the Seti River joins the Modi, the water volume grows higher and more intense. Ultimately an adventurous whitewater rafting experience on Class III rapids. Staying at tented camp on the bank of river is great fun and different experience.
Your sense of excitement will rise as you are kitted out with your essential gear for the day and then listen to the safety briefing. As the guides and rafters climb aboard the raft and begin their challenging descent of the river, everyone is full of eager anticipation with a little nervous apprehension – what will the day bring?
