We start this popular Annapurna sanctaury trek with ascends through cultivated fields and lust forests of oak, magnolia and rhododendron before arriving at the hill top at Ghorepani. We hike Poon hill ( 3232 meter) in the morning for best sunsire view. It portraits an impressive mountain panoramic vistas of 8000 meter peaks like Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and many more other peaks including Hiunchuli, Annapurna south and the fluted peak of Machhapuchhare, known as the fishtail as its distinctive summit shape. The combination of tiny thatched roofed villages set amongst the terraced fields on the backdrop of stunning mountain ranges makes this teahouse trekking to Annapurna sanctuary is one of the most picturesque treks in Nepal.

We trek along the narrow Modi Khola valley seeing the towering peaks and dizzyingly high rock walls with waterfall tumbling down into the roar of the river below.  We ascend to Machhapuchhare base cmap as the valley get widens on the lateral moraine of Annapurna South glacier. The mountain views are simply great from here: Hiunchuli, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Macchapuchhare itself makes a fabulous panorama. Anohter 2 to 3 hours of climb takes you to the Annapurna base camp, a natural alpine amphitheatre, an awesome SANCTUARY. The enoromous south face of Annapurna dominates the basin. Outline Itinerary of Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

Day 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu / welcome dinner.
Day 02 : Visit to Buddhist and Hindu shrines.
Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara / stay at hotel.
Day 05 -06 : Trek to Ghorepani, exploration hike to POON HILL - great Himalayan vista
Day 07- 09 : Trekking to Macchapuchhare Base camp: enjoy the stunning Panomara.
Day 10 : Trek to Annapurna base camp / Annapurna sanctuary
Day 11-13 : Descend to Nayapul/ short drive to Pokhara / explore the lake city.
