Langtang Gosaikunda Trek with Stunning Panorama.

This Langtang Gosaikunda Trek combines the Langtang with Gosaikunda Valley. It explores pristine valleys, high passes, and diverse cultures of the region. Though accessible, it remains an unspoiled and less-trodden route in Nepal. This Langtang valley borders Nepal with Tibet, so we see the Tibetan influence on people and culture.

We hike through the dense forest and traditional ethnic settlements. This less trodden route gets to the yak pasture land of Kyanjin Gompa. We climb the Kyanjin Ri for the panoramic views of parades of peaks. We retrace our way to climb to the holy Gosaikunda Lake. It is a sacred pilgrimage site for Shaman, Hindu, and Buddhist devotees. Laurebina Pass, at 4620 meters, offers an excellent view of Tibet. The mountain views on this Langtang Gosaikunda trek are genuinely inspiring.

Safe and Less Trodden Route in Langtang

We explore the sights and sounds of world heritage sites in Kathmandu. The city tour and welcome dinner are designed to know the culture and people.

A trek orientation briefing will ensure you have all the required gear. A medically trained and experienced trek guide will lead your journey. We will carry oxygen and a medical kit for safety on the trek.

Day 4-6

We ascend to Kyanjin Gompa via Lama Hotel and Langtang Village. Here, you see the first tantalizing views of Langtang Lirung (7,225 m) and Langtang (3,430 m).

Day 07

Hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773 m) for the spectacular views of panoramic peaks. Alternatively, an ascent of Tserko Ri (4,984 m) is challenging for personal fitness. Here, we have an option hike for the enthusiastic trekker to the Ubra glacier nearby.

Day 8-9

We descend from Kyanjin Gompa to Thulo Syabru. The village is set up on a long ridge. All houses are against the backdrop of snowy peaks. Charming and friendly local people add to the beauty of the trek.

Day 10-12

It is a challenging climb to Foprang Danda, which has superb mountain views. After the Foprang Danda trail, it is almost level to Singompa. We visit the cheese factory of Singompa and the monastery. We see the dark interior is blackened by years of burning candles. A torch will pick out the colorful wall paintings of gods, goddesses, and demons on the walls. The mid-west mountain ranges are open to Ganesh Himal (7,406 m), Manaslu (8,156 m), and the Annapurna. The holy Gosaikunda lakes are the objective of Hindu pilgrims at the time of the full moon in August each year. People make the trek as often barefoot and in little more than thin cotton clothing.

Day 13
