Then, you drive to another famous tourist location in the country Pokhara. You can also explore Pokhara and visit places like Davis Falls, Tal Barahi Temple, and Phewa Lake. Next, a short drive takes you to Nayapul from where the ABC trek begins. We hike uphill and pass villages like Tikhedhunga and Ulleri on the way to Ghorepani.
Further, the trail enters a dense forest of rhododendron trees and continues north. This forested trail leads you to Ghorepani- a Gurung and Magar village. From here you hike to Poonhill viewpoint at the elevation of 3210 meters and enjoy the vista of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges along with Mt. Fish Tail (6993m). Then, the trek resumes on the trail to the Annapurna Base Camp elevation of 4130 meters. Crossing Tadapani and Chhomrong, you will continue to Dovan. En route, you can also visit the Hinku Cave and trek to the Himalayas. Further, you trek north to reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp before trekking to ABC. Once at the base camp of Annapurna, you find yourself in midst of impressive snowy peaks including Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Annapurna south, Hiumchuli, tent peak, Gangapurna, and fluted Fishtail. At the base camp, you can enjoy the vista of the Annapurna Himalayas. You can also relish the view of the Annapurna I (8091m) along with other mountains in the Fishtail and Lamjung Himal ranges. After exploring the base camp, you will begin the return trek. You will begin trekking south and first head to Jhinu Danda. Here, you can enjoy the natural hot springs before heading to Nayapul.
