Exploring the sights and sounds of historical places in Kathmandu we start our tea house trek with a drive to Jiri. The trek route passes through terraced hillsides, Sherpa villages, and alpine forest to the windswept open ridges of Pike peak (4065 m). From here the panoramic view is incredible including the seven 8000 meters peaks. They are Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Manaslu, Annapurna, and Shishapangma in Tibet. Besides that other Himalayan peaks like Gauri Shanker, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse, Ama Dablam as seen from the top. Furthermore Number peak, Khatang, Shishapangma, Mera, Thamserku, etc all over the horizon.
Dudh Kunda Trek - Cultural Trail in Everest Region

Where tumbling ice falls hang precariously above the holy mountain lake blue calm water. We trek down via Trakshindo monastery to Phaphlu to take a breathtaking flight back to Kathmandu.
