Rupinala Trekking - Unspoiled and Remote Route not to Miss
Located in the central Himalayan range of Nepal, Rupinala Pass Trekking is one of the picturesque camping treks in the Himalayas. This trek route used to be a summer trade route between Tibet and Nepal. Crossing the Rupinala pass in winter is technically difficult even though it is not a very high pass. The best time to do this Manaslu region trek is in April and May or Sept and October only. Rupinala - Less Trodden Trekking Route
From Kathmandu, we drive to Barpak a big and beautiful village of Gurung. An ethnic group many of them have joined on British Gorkha Regiment best known as the Gorkhas. From here we trek to Dharche hill for the superb mountain views. After the viewpoint, we follow the ridge and enjoy the great views. We trek along the spectacular mountain foothills onto the ice to the base camp above the tree line. Our trek crew fix the tents for accommodation and cook prepare delicious meals while you enjoy the dramatic mountain scenery. Crossing the Rupinala pass is demanding but very much rewarding with unspoiled and incomparable views of the Himalayas. We continue our trek towards the Boudha Himal base camp. Furthermore, we cross the huge glacier of Rani and Gorkha peaks with a stunning vista below the tree line. A wonderful scenery which is rarely seen in the Himalaya.
Lower Manaslu Camping Trek in the Himalayas
Having lost in the wilderness for several days we reach Nyak a village on the ridge far above the Budigandaki valley. Furthermore the trail down to the valley in marginal conditions on this Rupinala pass trekking. Indeed it can be tiring but once you join on the main trail you feel a lot more comfortable in walking. We trek down all the way to the Budigandaki river bank from where we board our bus drive to Kathmandu. Thus Rupinala pass trek is a spectacular and serious wilderness mountain trek that should not be missed.
