Poon Hill Trek, 4-5 Days, 3210 m:

The Poon Hill trek is one of the most popular among all short treks in Nepal. This trek can be accomplished within a few days and has no risk of altitude sickness. Annapurna Panorama Poon Hill trek starts along the beautiful Modi Khola, an hour's drive from Pokhara. After crossing the suspension bridge over the river, one can see the ultimate scenic landscape, rice fields terrace, and a fantastic view of Machhapuchhare. One of the prime attractions of the trip is Ghandruk, a lively heritage village of the Gurung community. The first few days of the trek are ascending through the forest with the view of Langtang Himal and Annapurna at a distance. The next day's trip is to Syangboche, which offers a breathtaking view of Everest and majestic mountain scenery. One of the trek's significant highlights is the Sherpa community's biggest village in Khumjung, which contains exotic monasteries and the Hillary School.
