    Everest Base camp, Circuit Trek

Look no further for a trekking company to take you to Everest Base Camp or anywhere in the region!Mountain Monarch Adventure Co., is a One trekker one porter company which means their porters carry one duffel bag not two. This company cares about their employees well being. I was emailing the company numerous times months out Prior to my trek with questions and Pradip the owner would always promptly respond. We were met by him when we arrived at our hotel in Kathmandu even though it was late after 830pm, later than expected. We were taken on a cultural tour the next day that was very enlightening. Rom, our guide was very nice and informative. My trekking guide, Roshan was always helpful, polite and professional. This man encouraged me to eat after I got sick and lost my appetite for much of the trip. Every day he would tell me to eat more. He learned to use my Nikon camera and took photos of everything. He would give us information about the region as he was born and grew up in Lukla. On the way back down after EBC and the Gokyo lakes, when we had to go uphill he carried by backpack, along with his as I was becoming more sick from what I later found out to be from Covid. Also, he was the one waiting for me outside the Kathmandu airport for over 2 hours as my flight was delayed and I had to get my visa inside and wait for my checked bag. After our trek and back in Kathmandu, He drove me to the Qatar airways building to reschedule my flight. He bought medicine for me, checked on me and encouraged me when I was tired. I could on and on.He became a friend and we still communicate on Facebook.Look no further, this IS the ONLY trekking company to consider!"

Another trip of a lifetime with MMA!

As always, MMA delivered on a great trek. If you are viewing this review, there is no need to heap further accolades on MMA. They are one of the best guide services and their one porter; one trekker policy is highly commendable.

The Everest Circuit trek is a highly recommended alternative to the traditional EBC trek if you have a few extra days. You get to go up the less crowded Gokyo valley and return on the more crowded EBC route (in just two days). Going up gives you tremendous views of Cho Oyo and the 180 panoramas of Cho Oyo/Everest/Lhotse/Makalu from the top of Gokyo Ri. Crossing Cho La pass can be work but is an incredible experience crossing the pass and glacier. The balance of the trip is the classic EBC route. If you have a few extra days, this trek is well worth it!

Lakpa, our guide, took great care of us and was a great guide. He seemed to know every other person we passed on the trek! Another trip of a lifetime with MMA!

    Successful Trek

Mountain Monarch is a highly rated guide company operating in Nepal. I recently enlisted their help in trekking around Mt. Everest and I fully agree with all of the great reviews this company gets. My scheduled trek, however, was changed by a fall while descending a high pass which resulted in a broken fibula. This is where Mountain Monarch went above and beyond all expectations. From the very able guide, Netra, to the ever calming and gentlemanly disposition of the owner, Mr. Pradip, they organized a very efficient air rescue and a worry-free transport to a highly capable travelers’ clinic in Kathmandu. Supervised mostly by Mr. Pradip himself, every little detail was handled with reassurance and comfort. It is said that it’s in a time of crisis that the very best comes out in people. Mr. Pradip and his staff shone in these moments. I’m very much looking forward to joining them again in the future and highly recommend Mountain Monarch Adventures to everyone.
