Everest Photography Trek - Photographic Journey in Nepal

This Everest Photography Trek into Nepal is designed with photography in mind, but you don't need to be a photographer to appreciate the beauty of the Himalayas! This Photographic journey in Nepal features the incredible beauty of the world's highest and most stunning peaks and mesmerizing lakes. We have curated the itinerary with comparatively fewer days of trekking between tea houses, no major high passes to climb and days spent in the best location for the photography. Especially scenic will be four nights at Gokyo and four nights at Pangboche. Both with extraordinary day hike possibilities. Thus, this specially designed itinerary of Photography Trek in the Everest region of Nepal is to freeze the Spellbound Himalayas' Wonders at their best form.

Experience the epic scenery of the Everest region of Nepal on this Photography oriented fully supported 22-day trek.

Trek up to Gokyo, the yak herder's settlement. We explore and enjoy the Sherpa hospitality as we ascend through the rhododendron and conifer forest. Four of the eight highest peaks of Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Mt Everest hover above sparkling turquoise Gokyo lakes. Similarly, at Pangboche, we will be in the shadow of the colossal peak of Amadablam and Touche captured on this Photographic Journey in Nepal.

    Everest region photography trek

This was my first visit to Nepal and my trip could not have gone more smoothly. Pradip and all the folks at Mountain Monarchs were easy to work with and handled everything from my arrival in Kathmandu until my departure 22 days later. While hiking in the Khumbu region, Mountain Monarchs’ guides and porters were more than helpful and always seemed happy to be sharing the trek with us. We took many side hikes, some steep and at the end of the day, and we were always encouraged to spend as much time as we liked hiking and taking photographs. Being a photography trek, we spent multiple days in some of the most picturesque areas, like Gokyo and Ama Dablam. If you’re thinking of trekking in Nepal, I highly recommend Mountain Monarchs.
