We have curated the itinerary with comparatively fewer days of trekking between tea houses, no major high passes to climb and days spent in the best location for the photography. Especially scenic will be 4 nights at Gokyo and 4 nights at Pangboche. Both with extraordinary day hikes possibilities. Trekking up to Gokyo, the yak herder’s settlement. we explore and enjoy the Sherpa hospitality, as we ascend through the rhododendron and conifer forest. Four of the eight highest peaks of Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, and Mt Everest hover above sparkling turquoise Gokyo lakes. Similarly, at Pangboche we will be in the shadow of the colossal peak of Amadablam and Touche.
This Photography Trek to Everest region in the Himalayas is a fully supported 22 days trip in Nepal. We will be sleeping and eating in a family-run teahouse along the route. Rooms are small with twin beds, and not heated, but we will provide a warm sleeping bag for a good night's sleep. You will be trekking at Approximately 95 km distance with around 40 – 60 km optional day hiking around.
