Yala Peak Climbing - short Trekking Peak Climb in Langtang

This Yala peak climbing offers the best thrill of an introductory peak climbing experience in the Himalayas beyond simply trekking. You need two weeks only from arrival to departure, ex Kathmandu to complete this climbing trip. Thus best for those who wish to stand on a Himalayan summit but have limited time. The climb is non-technical; therefore, prior climbing experience is not required. However, outdoor experience and a reasonably good fitness level are a must.

We start our journey to Yala peak climbing in the Langtang region with a drive to Syburbesi from Kathmandu and trekking through dense forests and traditional ethnic settlements via the Lama hotel, Langtang village, and Kenjin Gompa. Ultimately we reach the excellent base camp of Yala peak. We also witness the damage done by April 2015 earthquake in Nepal, mainly at Langtang village. The local people had fully renovated the teahouse within a year, and now it is safe to travel. We see the stunning views of many beautiful mountains - Lantang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m), and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) on the Tibetan side.

Climbing Yala with all Gears and Proper Safety backup

Mountain Monarch provides all the personal and group climbing gear, including climbing boots. Thus you have an affordable and hassle-free trip to Nepal, with no worry about hiring or buying expensive equipment for just one trip. We have a medically trained guide to lead your journey to Yala peak climbing with oxygen and a medical box. We provide the full board meal, and of course, you can select the food from the teahouse menu while we trek. We will stay some nights at a tented camp while climbing away from the crowd. We make sure to have enough trek crew to go and support you on your adventure trip to Nepal.

Yala Peak - 2 weeks trek to climb

Climbing the Yala peak is probably the shortest trekking peak climbing in Nepal. We can do this entire trek to climb in. just two weeks from arrival to departure in Kathmandu. We customize this climbing trip to the requirements of a group of trekkers. This could also be a great family adventure trip, with a plan to make the trek to base camp together and some doing the climbing adventure beyond trekking in the Langtang region. We are a few set departure dates for 2023 and 2024 to join the group.

Climb Yala Peak with Langtang Trek

Mountain Monarch organized a great trip. The climbing guides, our cook, and our porters were all excellent. Friendly, helpful, and very competent. We were provided with sound equipment and well-supported in our trek up the Langtang Valley and our ascent of Yala Peak. Many thanks to Pradip and his team.

                        Fairly achievable trips

I went on this trip along with a couple of friends towards the end of May. We had limited time, but we're interested in doing a peak, and this seemed to be one of the less expensive and relatively achievable trips we could find. Also, given our lack of mountaineering experience, we thought it would be a good idea to have a guide with us (which it was)! Physically, it was not too challenging, so I guess if you are in pretty decent shape, you should be able to make it to the top. That said, how your body will react at a higher altitude can vary and largely depend on genetics (sorry for rambling on).

The location, Langtang Valley, is spectacular; it is a very surreal experience being surrounded by 6,000 and 7,000-meter peaks. As you gradually move to a higher altitude, landscape, flora, and fauna also have a pretty large variation.

Mountain Monarch does a great job providing all the necessary equipment for the journey. Pretty much all your needs can be provided, and they are highly professional. I think it was a good idea to have a lot of help for this particular trip, as we were all relatively new to peak climbing. The food in Nepal is also great and healthy as well! Finally, I want to thank the whole crew and our guide Ngima for the trip; it was a fantastic time, which I appreciated. Would definitely recommend this trip if you have the time and finance!
