I will never forget the trip I took with Mountain Monarch to get to the famous Everest Base Camp. I had an amazing three-week trip through the beautiful Himalayas, but I ran into some surprising problems that tested my limits. I will never forget how kind and helpful the Mountain Monarch team was throughout the whole process. From the moment I got there, Pardip and his team were great. It was easy to get in touch with them, and they were happy to help with any questions or concerns. Our guides, Dawa and Nigma, knew a lot about the area and the difficulties it held. They also genuinely cared about our safety and comfort during the whole trip. But when I got sick during a tough part of the hike, the Mountain Monarch team's true character really shone through. My team Dawa, Kulung Jhon and Jiwan Kulung were very patient, understanding, and kind, when I was sick. They made sure to meet my needs and give me the care and support I needed to keep going on the trip. Their unfailing support was a big part of how I overcame problems and reached my goal of standing at the base of the world's tallest mountain. People who are thinking about going on an adventure with Mountain Monarch should really hear me out. This goes for the Everest Base Camp trip as well as any other trips they offer. They stand out from other hiking companies because they are very compassionate, and follow the "one trekker, one porter" rule. Mountain Monarch looked after us well from Start to finish. Can't fault them and would certainly use them again in future. Pradhip was very helpful with the organisation and booking. Everything went smoothly from the airport pickup to our stay in Kathmandu. The hotel was clean, in a good location and run by a friendly family. We opted for a private trek with our own guide and porters which proved to be the right decision. Our guide Ngima Sherpa was excellent. Great conversationist, helpful, reorganised our route when I got bad headaches at higher altitude, got us the best rooms and was generally good company and fun to be with. We ended up going up the valley to Gokyo, climbing Gokyp Ri but then skipping the Cho Lo pass as I had to get to a lower altitude till I felt better,so we walked back down the valley, cut across and went all the way up the Everest Valley to EBC ,then back down to Pangboche. It was great to be able to change things as we went along . We got back on track with the itinerary at Lobuche.I would thoroughly recommend going with mountain Monarch .

Did the EBC and island peak trip with Mountain Monarch in Autumn 23. It was a fantastic trip from start to finish. The tour of Kathmandu prior to the trek was really good, and the knowledge of the team in Kathmandu was valuable for any advice regarding last minute kit requirement. On the trail we were looked after extremely well by our Sherpa Finjo and his team. Very knowledgeable information throughout the trek and a brilliant climber and teacher. The program of climbing was perfect to allow us to acclimatise safely so we could summit, and because Mountain Monarch provide some of the climbing gear it definitely helps keep the cost of the trek. Hopefully I get to climb again in Nepal and I would definitely book again with Mountain Monarch

I did the Mera Peak trip in 2022 with Mountain Monarch so my expectations this year were high, expecting the same level of service and planning as last year. I was not disappointed on the trip to EBC and Island Peak. Everything worked out perfectly thanks to everyone from the MM team. Look no further, just book your trip with MM?

This was truly an amazing experience covering the very best of Himalayan Trekking in just four days.The first two days involved flying into Lukla, solid hours of trekking and lastly reaching Namche Bazaar.The third morning I trekked up to Mount Everest View Hotel for a glorious outlook from Ama Dablam across the vast Khumbu valley to Everest, as well as the local villages lying far far below.Then after lunch on the hotel balcony I trekked back down to Namche Bazaar.The following day was my helicopter ride down to Lukla and the return to Kathmandu.Having been to Basecamp many years previously, I wanted to relive the experience and compared to my previous Basecamp experience, in this ‘short and sweet’ trek I still enjoyed 95% of the exhilaration.Thank you again Mountain Monarch.

My husband and I had an amazing trip to 3 Passes and Everest Base Camp area with Mountain Monarch and Ram as our trusty guide. This area is one of the most beautiful areas in the world! This is our 4th trip with the company so we have a great relationship with them knowing that they will do exactly what they promise and more. It was great to see Pradip again when he picked us up from the airport in Kathmandu - really nice to know that we have a friend there for us.Ram and the porters were excellent! Very personable! My husband was celebrating his 79th birthday on this trek and they made it all possible. Ram and the porters gave me plenty of encouragement as we went up the high passes. Because it was just the 2 of us on the trek, Ram was very flexible with the schedule. It worked out better to climb Kalapatthar and Gokyo Ri mid-day instead of early morning and the weather was perfect.At the end of the trek, Pradip picked us up again at the airport and drove us around so we could change our flight back home.We highly recommend Mountain Monarch, a Nepali company; they are terrific at coordinating!

My wife and I completed the EBC and Island Peak climb. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of all Mountain Monarch personnel, from organizing the trip through Pradip to the friendly porters and our extremely experienced guides Finjo and Biroo. My wife suffered altitude sickness, and received oxygen from our guides, as well as our guide contacting our insurance company himself and advocating for medical evacuation on our behalf. Our guides were willing to put in extra effort to ensure our safety (and enjoyment of the trip). Highly recommend Mountain Monarch to anyone looking to travel in Nepal.

Just back in Australia after completing a wonderful 3-Passes adventure with Mountain Monarch. The trip was perfectly organised and executed. I was a sole client for my trek with an awesome guide (Calendar) and a porter. Being one-on-one with the guide allowed us to tweak the itinerary to jam in a few extra bonus walks (Gokyo Lakes 4 and 5, and Island Peak Base Camp and Imja Lake). Also a shout out to Finjo who was my guide for the first 3 days of the trek while I was with a bigger group before we went our separate ways (me to 3-Passes, them to EBC).I could not be happier with my experience. The 3-Passes trek is certainly a challenge but the amazing views make it all worthwhile. It seems so much better to me to tackle this walk to see a much larger range of mountains, valleys and lakes than just walking up and back to EBC with the masses.

I had an outstanding experience with Mountain Monarch on the Mera and Island peak-trip!It was truly an adventure and a trip I will never forget. Everything was well planned and I felt safe and well taken care of throughout the whole trip. Great crew, great food, great itinerary! I highly recommend Mountain Monarch.

In June of 2023, my 14-year-old grandson, my wife and I enjoyed a jeep tour to Upper Mustang with Mountain Monarch. We all enjoyed the trip, and our guides and drivers were great! Pradip did a great job customizing our trip, adding a couple of stops and an extra day in Pokhara. This was my 3rd trip with Mountain Monarch and if I’m able to visit again, I’ll use Mountain Monarch.
