I just completed a 27-day trek around the entire Annapurna massif with MMA. This was my second trip with MMA, and I was pleased to have had a fully satisfactory trip yet again. The staff is excellent, professional, pleasant, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend traveling with MMA for any trekking or climbing in Nepal.

We recently completed a trip with MM and, despite the unusually challenging snow conditions, had a delightful experience. Our guide Nima was very knowledgeable and patient while we took endless photos of the beautiful scenery. He was always available for any assistance we may have needed, including during the night. He also carried an oxygen cylinder in his rucksack in case we needed extra help. Our two porters, MJ & JB, were always cheery and happy to help.
We also had a birthday celebration on top of Gokyo Ri with hot chocolate and cookies!
We would have no hesitation in using MM again and would recommend anyone looking to arrange a trekking/climbing adventure in the area to look no further than MM.

What an incredible journey, a brilliant experience, and very grateful to meet all the people who made the mentioned possible. Super professional and quick e-mail contact by Pradip, who answered all questions before the trip to prepare me mentally. The received trekking equipment was at the highest standard, and all "extra" requests were fulfilled. The MM staff was exceptional, with the guides, chefs, and porters.

Thanks to Dawa Finjo Sherpa and assistant guides Mingma Chiri Sherpa and Lakpa Nuru Sherpa. Dhana Rai and the team cooked diverse and super tasty food. I am coming back again for sure. Mountain Monarch is highly recommended for a "never forget" experience, and I would suggest that all my friends join a trip.

For hours from this moment, I have been writing to you; one year ago, our Everest team and your Sherpa team were at the world's top. What a miracle! What emotional moments we went through! For our team and Albanian mountaineering, it was an unusual success! Thank you again for your help; I want to thank the Sherpa team, especially Trendy, and the supporting staff!

I just returned from a trip to Nepal with my 11-year-old son, where we did a trek in Annapurna, white water rafting, and a jungle safari in Chitwan. We were accompanied by two of my friends and three other children, so a group of 7 all up.

Mountain Monarch was amazing, even better than in 2009 when they organized a trekking peak expedition for 5 of us that went without a hitch. This trip went without a hitch as well, and with everything being organized, we didn’t have to worry about any logistics. Also, Mountain Monarch really went the extra mile – provided 2 different guides – 4 in total (to safeguard the kids a bit more on the trail) and a safety kayaker on the white-water rafting (in case one of the kids fell out) without being asked and at no extra cost. Indeed they lowered the price a bit because some of their permitting costs were reduced for kids.

Our lead guide (Finjo) had summited Everest – what a buzz for the kids to get compass lessons from an Everest summiteer! Even more impressive, Finjo has academic qualifications in child development and had a fantastic rapport with them! Finjo stayed with us throughout the trip, which really helped.

Pradip, the managing director, was always available and, indeed, essentially operates out of the hotel in Kathmandu where we stayed. I had asked Pradip a favor, whether some certificates could be made and presented to the kids on their return – Pradip readily agreed, and the certificates were very well done (the kids are very proud of them, my boy has his on his wall).

The only negative was the white water rafting lead guide wasn’t particularly “child-friendly” – not awful, just not used to kids rafting, would be my guess – this part of the trip was sub-contracted, but I mentioned this minor issue to Pradip; and I am sure he will review his sub-contractor for the next time.

I have personally been to Nepal 5 times; I am likely to return in 2015 and will undoubtedly be utilizing Mountain Monarch again.

I can’t recommend this trip and the Mountain Monarch team highly enough. At no time was anything a difficulty. Everything went smoothly from the collection at Katmandu Airport, the friendship offered by the guides and porters, the reorganization to cater for sickness and injury on the trek, to the drop-off at the airport. Even to the point where departures were changed or incorrectly booked. Mountain Monarch still catered to these changes.

Pradip (M.D.) Sunil (Head Guide), all the guides and porters thank you for the experience. If you want the best, forget the rest and give Mountain Monarch the test. You will not be disappointed.

I went on a trek to Ama Dablam Basecamp with Mountain Monarch. I only experienced the highest levels of care and support, the assistants did a brilliant job looking after us, and the cook team was excellent. A few problems were out of our control, such as canceled flights, but the MM team did an excellent job of reorganizing, and we still completed the whole trip on time. As well as taking care of food and our general well-being, they carry a big medical kit and limit the amount of weight each porter carries to help look after their health. I would recommend going on a trip with them, as you will have a brilliant time.

From the start of our trek to when we finished three weeks later in November / December 2011, we could not fault Mountain Monarch and its service.
Our guide Yugal was excellent, with great knowledge about the area and perfectly spoken English. The other support staff was great too. We would not hesitate to use Mountain Monarch again or to recommend them to others. 2 thumbs up!

I booked with Mountain Monarch to trek to Base Camp in November this year, and I can honestly say that it was the most memorable trip of my life; I have visited the Alps in Italy, Austria, and Slovenia, and also the mountains of the UK and Ireland but nothing compared to the trek I took with Mountain Monarch, the companies excellent reputation is well deserved for its professionalism and the care it takes to ensure its clients have a memorable and safe trip, I wish to say a huge thanks to Pradip and his team, especially to Ram and Kumar whose help and guidance were first class, I would not hesitate to use Mountain Monarch again. I would strongly recommend them to anyone seeking a first-class company based in Nepal with the best local knowledge of the Himalayas. Once again, a huge thank you !!!!
