The city of lakes – Pokhara:

Pokhara, a beautiful laid back city that lies en-route a plethora of trekking routes around Annapurna, is unarguably among the most romantic destination in the country. This valley is a dreamland set perfectly with beautiful lakes reflecting the Himalayan ranges, friendly and hospitable people, and most importantly the starting point of many wonderful destinations around the region. An ancient hilltop settlement – Bandipur:

This small yet culturally rich destination could slow down all your activity and make you want to watch and relax. Set in the tranquil hill between the Kathmandu-Pokhara Highway, Bandipur preserves the old Newari architecture that can be seen in its few guest houses and hotels around the main street. Morning views are blessing with rivers and hills below and mountain ranges touching the sky towards the north. Evening rituals around the bazaar are entertaining. Going downhill to the Siddha Cave and hiking to Ramkot village are equally interesting.

Just 32 km east of Kathmandu, the capital city, is one of the most beautiful and romantic destination in the country. Sunrise views are heavenly from most hotels, with the Himalayan ranges towards the north in a panorama, including Mt Everest. Sunset views of the city and fields that lie below are equally enjoyable.
